Overall, this is a great, versatile sandal. Dunham's great fit and the availability of wide sizes is important to me.
I bought a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear and the length is good. I have gotten them wet, but this is not their best use. The heel strap is sturdy but is showing initial signs of wear and I expect it to wear out before the leather or sole. I'd describe the fit as somewhat loose and comfortable.

I won't go into great detail.
Let me just say that if you are looking for a pair of comfortable Fisherman's sandal you need to give these some serious thought.
Dunhams are made by New Balance so you know they're going to last and they'll keep your feet happy. They weigh just under a pound, so they are a little heavier than one might expect in a sandal, but they are lighter than the Merrells I had looked at and so far don't seem to cause any fatigue.
They are clog-like in the toe so like one of the reviewers stated they do not cover all of your toes. I personally like that because they breath like none I've had before. :0)
The stitching appears solid and the leather looks/feels top quality. The soles conform to your feet and stay dry.
I REALLY like the option of wearing them as closed-back sandals or slide-ins. I take the back piece off to wear them around the house and reinsert for driving.

I would definitely buy Dunhams again. And when these wear out I'll be looking for "Moose River Leather Fisherman's" again.

I bought this sandal for my husband who ONLY wears fisherman style sandals - his feet are terribly wide and this is the FIRST shoe he put on that he was able to wear out of the box with NO blisters. They are his absolute favorites and they've worn well - he is SO hard on his shoes and often cracks the sole - but not this time. I will definitely be ordering another pair once his do wear out.
