Much lighter than previous version. Now has some elastic in back strap for easier on/off and better fit.

I have long worn Doc Martens sandals and shoes and after my sandal wore out after 15 years I looked for a replacement. My old pair has three adjustable straps, but this one only has one, at the heel. The middle part of the sandal is almost as closed as a shoe, which rather defeats the purpose of a sandal. Moreover it is fixed leather with no means at all of making it tighter or looser. I also note that the back strap has an elastic part to it, which may make the sandal easier to slip on or off, but I doubt if it will last as long as the leather, and when it wears off, what do you do with the sandal?
All in all, rather disappointing, which is why I returned it. Unfortunately Doc Martens no longer seems to make a fully adjustable sandal.

this is my second pair of Doc Martin sandals. I think that they are the best looking sandal and most durable from previous expierence.

These are my first Dr. Martens and I truly love them. I will be buying some shoes next because of how comfortable and attractive they are. I love the supple leather, the great soles, and how breathable they are. I was half expecting that they would chafe somewhere, but they don't at all. I have already recommended them to anyone I think would enjoy them.

Sandels are very comfortable and fit perfect. They are very stylish and go with just about any attire. I would give them my personal recommendation.
