I wear these every day. great stability and no need for my orthotics in these. helps with plantar fasciitis too. gets a little stinky for an open shoe but that seems to be a common complaint. great shoe over all though

I bought the same size I usually buy in Keen sandals, and this one feels quite a bit bigger, both in length and width....so best worn with a light sock. Easier on/off than most Keens, and nice adjusting capability. Lining of the footbed is some sort of fabric, and feels hotter to me than some Keens. Colors could be a little more interesting, but oh well, it will be dirty soon enough!

I bought these shoes for a different reason than they were intended for. At work my feet get SOOO hot, yet we are required to have a heel and a toe in our shoes. These are great. I am on my feet all day and Keen has always given me good support. You would not believe the people who come up to me and ask where I got them and what they are! I can not stop singing the praises of Keen shoes. Other than a few dress shoes, my closet is nearly all Keen now!

Another great shoe by Keen!

Very comfortable shoe. I have a pair of Keen Targhee II Mid that I wear to work and are also very comfortable. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day. But being in Florida, weather is getting hotter and I needed something a little cooler for the hotter season. Checked out Keen shoes for something cooler and came across the Arroyo. It is a lightweight shoe and very breathable. I put them on when they came and didn't take them off until bedtime. Can't wait to wear them to work. If they're anything like the Targhee, I'll probably order another color.... just wish there was more than just 3 choices.

I haven't had these long, but I LOVE THEM! Very comfy & versatile. I love that I can spray them off with the hose and when they dry they look brand new. Like all of my other Keens, they run a tad small.

Best Uses:

Thicker sole than the Keen water shoes, so you feel rocks and impact less. Good evenin the winter with socks. My 2nd pair, wish they wore better. I wore mine for 2yrs which was about 1 yr too long. Wishing for more colors. While hiking in Hawaii my friends had to keep removing there boots to cross streams...not me and my Keens!

I use these Keens to work, leisure, and weekends. I previously owned the Keen Taos (grey) which were purchased in January 2005. I have not stopped using them and they still look good. These sandals are very good in hot and wet weather climates. Being washable is a big plus for sweaty feet. They dry overnight and look as good as new. About the only thing that failed were the bungee laces, but Keen was nice to send me a pair, FREE of charge!
My wife also uses the Keen Arroyo and loves them. She takes them to the extreme - plays tennis and jogs!

I went to Europe last spring, taking several pair of shoes. By the end of the 2nd week, the Keens were the only ones I wore. I have somewhat narrow feet (these shoes' ability to tighten up allowed me to wear them sockless with minimal blistering), wear orthodics (which fit into the Arroyo well), and need a solid piece over the heel (to prevent slippage). The Keens held up well when I hiked the hills in Greece, as well as walking by the ocean in Portugal. I initially purchased the shoes because I wanted a sandal-type shoe for hot weather. The Arroyos fit the bill. The pair I purchased from [...] was my second, to replace the ones I wore in Europe and all summer here. And the only reason I wanted to replace them was that the ties were not staying put anymore. That's my only complaint, as I have narrow feet and need a tight last.Otherwise, I may not take them off until bedtime all year long.

I've only just started to wear them. Have no idea how they dry as I live in the desert. Been wearing them with a light sock (still hot here), but they seem to need a heavier sock. I'm trying to decide if the shoe needs a little more arch support for me. My toes like the shoe, lots of room. The laces are toggled, have to get used to that, although I guess I could get regular laces. This shoe definitely runs small - I'm a basic 8.5, but I had to return a 9 for a 9.5 for a decent fit. My feet seem to like them, but I haven't been on a long walk in them yet.

This is a GREAT all-use athletic shoe: this is my 2nd pair - my 1st pair lasted about a year, but I wore them to the gym, played outdoor volleyball in them, wore them to the dog park, daily walks with the dog. Oh, and I even wore them to walk home from work 5 miles in the SNOW when we were hit with that big snow storm last winter - even though they're a shoe-sandle hibrid, they kept my feet warm and dry! And they're a great "kickin' around town" shoe, too. They are as comfortable as slippers and clean up really well. LOVE THEM!!!
