I wear my Vasque trailing running shoes for the trail, walking, on the beach at times, and light hiking sometimes. They are comfortable but also hold up and provide support.

"outdoor rat" is more like it, dont go to the gym, do aerobix via dvd's in my home. I have serious foot problems lately, plantars fascia now something on the top, this is the most comfortable "find" I've found as of yet.....

I work out almost every day on my treadmill, and I started having heel pain that wouldn't go away. I bought a pair of these on advice from a friend, and soon the pain was gone. I've bought nothing but this brand and style ever since.
