I purchased this shoe for running on outdoor trails after having sprained my ankle while wearing running sneakers. I feel a lot more stable on uneven terrain and have increased my speed without sacrificing safety. Besides the support, I like how quickly this shoe dries - the trails are wet in the mornings!
