I bought this running shoe/sneaker mainly to use as a walking shoe. I walk for exercise on the weekends and do a lot of city walking during the work week. They are extremely comfortable, do not rub or cause blisters and my feet feel cushioned and supported. There was no break in period necessary. The only slightly negative thing I would comment on is that the shoe is slightly narrow for my medium width foot. However, I think that the longer I wear them and they conform to my feet, they will feel less narrow. I also love the color combination - I really dislike white sneakers.
