I am a Fan of Merrell Footwear. I needed a new pair of boots, so I bought this pair. I was looking for something to wear in the winter, that offered comfort, style and warmth. The tread provides great traction. They are a little hard to get on at first. Not sure if a 1/2 size larger is needed, or just some break in time. They fit nicely, one they are on. I have worn them all day and they are comfortable and supportive. I would buy another pair & recommend them to a friend.

I LIVE IN NW WI AND IT GETS VERY COLD. I AM A PROFESSIONAL TRUCK DRIVER AND DEAL WITH THE ELEMENTS ALL THE TIME MY FEET STAY WARM AND DRY WITH NORMAL SOCKS AND THEY ARE COMFY ON THOES 18 HOUR DAYS. GREAT TRACKTION ON SNOW AND ICE COMPARED TO MOST BOOTS. THE FIT IS GREAT NOT LOOSE LIKE SORELS AND OTHER SLIP ON AND BOOTS I HAVE TRIED. I HAVE HAD OTHER MERRELLS AND THESE ARE GOING TO LAST EVEN LONGER THAN THEY DID DUE TO THE NEW MATTERIAL.
