These boots are great. Alot of support from your arches to your ankles. With the right lacing support can shift from a little for up and alot for down. Boots fit true to size. The wide are the first boot that has fit me right. Traction is amazing and waking through muddy wet areas my feet were dry and happy. They are heavy, but they have to be for hiking through rocks and roots. Highly recommend.
I had to return them as I have huge bunions and they were not wide enough in the foot bed to be comfortable.
I have just gotten my boots and am breaking them in with short 1 -2 mile hikes. So far no complaints.
like em but wish narrow was a narrow...these are the only boots i have located in a narrow and they are narrow but only barely..still need those thick socks
Incredible! (Ok, I did remove the boots' footbeds and installed my own heel pads and orthotics.) Great comfort, right from the getgo, carrying heavy rockhounding equipment up steep, extremely rocky and muddy trails for a mile; scrambling down boulders and loose stones; tripped and fell once, but ankles were pillowed and held firmly by these Wasatch GTX boots. Adequate room for toes, even with thick wool socks over thin anti-blister socks. The technology of comfort has come a long way since the waffle-stompers of the '70's.
