Bought these right before a trip to Colorado and wore them part of every day for 10 days. Comfortable right out of the box. Used for many 1-2 mile walks on all kinds of terrain. Kept my feet dry in rain but not too hot on 100 degree days. Good support. Only problem is some right heel slippage, despite lacing to hold heel tightly, but no blisters or hot spots. Am very happy with them - and I love the way they look.

I like this year's model a lot better than the previous model. This one fit's a lot better and wasn't so hard to break in.
