They don't require much a breaking-in period because they are super comfortable. Great work shoe for industrial type environment. They certainly aren't the prettiest shoes ever, but they get the job done!

I was looking forward to wearing this shoe to work with slacks. Unfortunately, this shoe was too small and I had to send it back. Very stylish and comfortable looking-

I wanted the shoes for light hiking in the mountains and occasional every day use. I have many pairs of Merrell shoes and know the quality and comfort are exceptional. These are no different.
