I love merrell but these boots were a waste of money, they are to narrow to wear with good hiking socks or any socks for that matter, If they were a little wider and a little bigger they would probably work out fine. But I am a size 11 so im out of choices in sizes.

This boot is too snug,even though I got a whole size bigger than I normally wear. They pinched my feet. Not enough room for orthotics either.

I go to college in the Appalachians and I often find myself treking out in the snow, rain or going for a hike on a gorgeous day. I needed something that would be comfortable and versatile because I never know what the weather is going to be like. I love this boot because it's not bulky like a traditional hiking book and it's waterproof, which is great for the rain and snow. I recommend this boot to anyone who is adventurous and often finds themselves in all kinds of different types of weather. I guess the only con is they sometimes squeak when I come in and out of buildings and the bottoms are slippery so you have to watch your step when they are wet and you are walking on dry floor.
