I have a physical job that requires walking,stepping up and down, into and out of a truck. At work I do typically 5 to 9 miles a day on my feet. And to top it all off I live in a very wet climate during the winter. This shoe has this great non-slip sole that keeps me stable on my feet no matter what the weather! The footbed is comfortable and the witdth is perfect for my slightly wide foot. My first pair came to me as a gift and now I have 5!!

Since buying my first pair of Merrells I've never purchased another brand. I've over 10 differant pairs of Merrells from Chameleon II Gore-Tex XCR that I wear every day to my heavy engineering workplace to Merrell Waterpro Ultra-Sport that I wear under my fins when I'm scuba diving.

My favorite thing about Merrell shoes/boots/sandles is the consistence within the brand; I can buy any size 9 Merrell and it fits (fabulous for on-line shopping). The Chameleon is no exception. I was able to take a nice 3-4 hour hike my first time wearing them and was comfortable the whole time. I don't like high hiking boots, so these are a great hight but also have nice support. Definitely recommend.
