I herd sheep, and I needed a shoe that provided great toe protection (sheep step on your feet!), great traction, water and wind resistence, and warmth. This is almost the perfect shoe! My only complaint is that it runs a bit too snug in the toe -- I have to wear very thin socks. And the inside tag? It's bothersome so I cut it out.
Almost perfect.

This is one of the Best hiking shoes that keen has to offer.
It has heavy tread for the serious trekker!!
If fits really nice and gently hugs your foot.

I needed a boot for a walking tour in July, the growler what what I could find from keen. When I got it it was good, as the seasons progressed I found it was too warm for July. The toe box isn't as loose as I like, so I can only wear thin socks with it. In winter I like to wear heavier socks to tuck my trouser into.
