I have been an Ecco fan for years and am happy with these also. They are comfortable and I like that I don't have to lace them.

I purchased these shoes for a hiking trip, figuring they would be better than my cushion running shoes and could handle getting wet. Turns out, they have delivered much more than I expected. They are probably the best fitting shoes I've ever had -- narrow and supportive from heel through mid-sole, with ample toe room. They are stable and great for cross-training, especially lateral movements. Wouldn't recommend them for road running, as they aren't cushioned much. Bonuses - they look great (I've never had so many compliements on a sneaker before) and the elastic laces stay nice and tight!
