I spent a few weeks looking for a good shoe to wear on my three week trip to Europe this spring. It had to be good because I was packing light and it was the only form of footwear I'd have with me.
This little shoe exceeded my expectations. I was in Great Britain for a little over two weeks, and my feet stayed dry in the drizzle. While my clothes were casual, I could easily wear them with pants or a basic black skirt and get by without looking too goofy. I went on a couple of day hikes in them and felt stable (enough) on dirt inclines and bumpy terrain. They didn't do so well in the mud, but my encounters with mud were accidental, and the shoes held up traction-wise for these brief encounters. I was able to easily brush off the mud later when it dried and the shoes looked fairly clean
My feet grew tired at the end of my trip and, at first, i thought this was b/c of the shoe. However, I realize now that this was due to my feet tiring from three weeks of walking (and walking and walking) in the same shoe--NOT due to the shoe itself. I've continued to wear them several times a week since my trip ended in early May and they feel comfortable each time I put them on. I'm wearing them right now, in fact, and logged onto the website to find another pair in an additional color.
I will check out the Merrell line of shoes again for the next time I travel abroad.

Stylish cute sneaker that is really different than your normal every day white sneaker--always looking for something more fashionable, but still comfy. I did go 1/2 size longer, as my last Merrell sneakers always felt a little too short.

I wore this shoe for the first time for the Walk for the Cure 5K walk.

I work on my feet all day as a nurse in a busy surgical service. Now that I have my Siren Nitros, my feet are my friends again. I no longer have to say, "My feet hurt." No matter how much walking I do, the support and comfort never stop. As a side benefit, I've been gettng alot of compliments on how they look. Try them and you will find out for yourself. I plan to buy another pair to insure ongoing happy feet. Tip: buy a half size larger for best fit.

This is a stable, comfortable, attractive shoe I can wear all day and in any weather traveling or hiking.
I have been on the look out for a shoe likes this since they stoped making my fav salomons...i am now a merrell girl!
These shoes are extremely comfortable. I never had to break them in and they are comfortable and supportive all day. They are great for everyday wear and day hikes. Cute with jeans and khakis!
Fun shoe to wear. I am on my feet all day for my job and these are great shoes. They have the support I need and look fun too. The first day I wore them I got several compliments. They are not so "industrial" looking as some of the sportier shoes. Thanks!

i use these to walk a few miles everyday...they feel comfortable and like an old pair of shoes but with great support. i even have a pair i wear to work as a nurse, great comfort and support for someone on their feet all day

Nice looking, great with jeans. Usually wear a 7.5 - had to send back for an 8. Versatile shoe; good for casual Friday or for a hike.

I walk 3 miles every day with these shoes. This firm sole was comfortable from the first time I wore these shoes. No break-in required. Very durable with great traction in snowy and icy conditions. Since they weren't marked waterproof, I sprayed them with a waterproofing shoe product. Merrell makes a high quality hiking shoe, and they look good with jeans too.

Local store didn't have my size- of course- and said they could have them in a week and a half if I special ordered them. I rarely see shoes I REALLY like- so I went home, found this site, and ordered them, [...] Well, that's just awesome. I love these- the "forest" green color has a distressed look which is really nice.
