I was really excited about receiving this product. I had hoped I would be able to take the shoes out of the box and immedialtely begin wearing them with no break in period. Not so for me. I'm still wearing them for short periods to break them in and I have had them for a couple weeks now. They seem stiff and a little wide in the heel for me, and therefore they slip when I am walking. I have a narrow heel. I don't think a smaller size would be the solution in my case. I noticed that most buyers had very good luck with them. It's probably just my weird feet! They are very nice looking shoes, though!

This is my second pair of these shoes. I usually get blisters on my heels and most shoes require a break-in period for me to wear them. Not these. I walked 4 miles the first time I wore them. They are comfortable from day one. That's why after wearing out my first pair while walking 4 or 5 times a week, I replaced them with the same shoe, different color. These shoes are also sturdy enough to use on the occasional trail hikes in California and Oregon.

I wear this shoe for camping and hiking and also wear it for indoor exercise - it has replaced all my other athletic shoes. It is so lightweight and comfortable right from the start and keeps my foot stable. I had foot surgery last year and it has totally made physical adctivity possible again! I already have two pairs and hope to buy one in every color!

With these shoes I can work 14 hours outside constantly walking and my feet don't hurt. I danced for 15 years so my feet have numorous problems, but these seem to correct all my foot issues, they even fit my wide ball of foot and my narrow heel. Would highly reccommend to everyone.

Comfort was there the first time I tried the shoes on. I need shoes that allow me to be on my feet all day, give me good support and stability and not push down and cramp my toes. I have very sensitive feet and tender toenails and these shoes felt like the "old broken-in" shoes with new shoe support and stability. I twist my ankes easily and the stability is reassuring. I haven't found anything that I don't like about these shoes.

I have several pair of Merrells for hiking and some sandals. This is the first pair for walking. They offer solid support, but feel a little stiff if you're used to cushion. I don't think this will be a negative, but it is a different feel from my hiking boots. They were comfortable right out of the box on paved surface. I haven't used them yet off road, but they should feel even better with the support they offer. Merrells tend to run a 1/2 size small to me, so keep that in mind since you don't want the toe crowded. They're quite good looking as well as comfortable.

I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. I'm the kind of person who can't wait to get home and get the shoes off my feet! This shoe is the exception. It was comfortable right out of the box and continues to be several weeks after first wearing them. The support is fantasic, I can go all day. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I do have to wear them with a thin sock however. One of my feet is a bit wider than the other and when wearing a regular weight sock, the wider foot was not happy at all! A thin sock is perfect though, and I don't think I would have been happier with a wider shoe.

I have large, EXTREMELY flat feet. Every tennis shoe, walking shoe, cross-training shoe I have ever worn never felt this good. Even without the annoying orthodic correction insoles that I have these shoes greatly enhance my walking experience. I feel just enough correction so that my heels aren't piercing with pain at the end of a long day. The only con is that the shoes are a little tight around the toes, which makes the inside rub against my pinky toes. But, this is not serious enough to keep my feet out of these shoes. The overall comfort is just too good! I will definitely buy Merrell shoes again.

Excellent all-around shoe for active women. The shoes felt perfect as soon as I put them on. I liked them so much I ordered another two pairs!

Shoes arrived at my door, took them out of box and wore them to work, probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Can't say enough about them, fabulous shoe.

I quickly got used to the insole being a little hard--now it feels like I have more support to my foot. My feet haven't hurt any wearing them. The shoe looks great with jeans & sweats.

This is a great shoe. I haven't had it long enough to be able to rate how it holds up but so far so good. It seems like it is a rugged sturdy shoe. The toe box is a tad narrow for me, but overall it is very comfortable.
The perfect everyday shoe

I'm a new convert to Merrell's and am absolutely ecstatic with their products. Started with the Siren Nitro and was so pleased with the performance that I ordered two pairs of the Siren Sport. Performance is fantastic for everyday wear and light hiking. Merrell has figured out how to design some outstanding shoes for active, outdoorsy women who demand high-performance shoes in great colors (that AREN'T PINK!) :) I'll be recommending these shoes to friends.

I bought these for the lightweight, warm day hikes. They are perfect for my feet. I found that I needed to go up a half size as they seem to run small. I also have narrow and flat feet and they accomodate very well. They keep my feet ventilated and couldn't ask for a better fit. I would not want to use these for a cold day hike or on wet ground. I bought the Merrell Siren Gore-Tex for those days.
