I bought these to wear on a walking/hiking trip and was really disappointed - not the expected Merrell comfort and fit. I ordered my usual size and had to exchange them for a half-size larger. These appeared to fit until I wore them the first day out and found my toes were rubbing. The shoes did not feel at all supportive. I had planned to do some hiking but could not with these shoes. Can't return them because I threw the box away...will not buy again.

I've purchased Merrell shoes in the past and have always been a fan, but these shoes are the best. I almost dread getting new shoes because they usually have to be broken in, but these shoes were incredibly comfortable from day one. I ended up buying a gray (beluga/lilac) pair as well as a tan (taupe) pair. The comfort, stability and quality of Merrell shoes is hard to beat.

I was expecting a light and airy shoe for summer that could be worn without socks, I bought a half size bigger after reading the reviews and was very happy I did as my usual size would have been too small. I generally love my merrells, these will go right back and exchange for the ventilators even though I'm not wild about the color choices! I'm a visiting nurse and needed them for work.

After having both knees replaced (Jan. & April) I needed a shoe with great support. My knees don't swell as quick in these as in other shoes. I can't say enough about the support and comfort.

After having foot surgery about two years ago, my foot still bothered me. I was worried that when we went to Southern Utah I would not be able to hike the canyons there or The Grand Canyon because my foot would bother me. However, I was able to hike 3 canyons in Southern Utah and do a 7 mile hike in The Grand Canyon without my foot bothering me. Thanks Merrill for the ability to be able to hike without my foot bothering me.

Thiis is my 4th pair of Merrell's and I absolutely love every pair that I own. The Moab Ventilators are my most recent purchase and I could not wait for them to arrive. I walk 3 to 5 miles 5 days a week. I love to walk and I am not always on pavement so I really needed some comfortable and stable foot wear. The Ventilators are just perfect for me and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to walk or hike in complete comfort and stability.
