I love Merrell "trail" shoes. I really liked the styling/color on this shoe, but found that this style runs wider than the styles I've purchased before. I exchanged them for the other chameleon model (non-wrap) which fits my foot (average width) much better.
If you have a wider foot these would be great.

This was my first experience with hiking shoes. I recently started daily walks in the park with my dog. I needed shoes that were water repellent and Merrell's were recommended to me.I really cannot comment on the quality or performance of these shoes. When these shoes arrived, I was surprised how enormous they looked. Granted I don't have small feet, but when I put them on , it looked as if they could crush a small city. I decided to try once more and exchanged them, hoping another style would be better. I received the Merrell Siren Sport GTX which I am thrilled to say look and feel great and have given me good support and dry feet.

I liked this shoe so much I bought a second pair before the first was worn out. Great if you have high arches and need support.

Merrell puts out such a great product!
With a good thick pair of hiking socks, and allowing for feet swelling as a hike progresses, these shoes are a good stable choice. The seam that secures the eyelets tends to rub the top of the foot when the shoe is new.

These are great shoes. I am a woman service tech and these are my second pair of Merrells. My first pair lasted about 2 yrs of abuse on restaurant floors & rooftop welding. They weren't even worn out, just had an odor from my line of work. My feet are a little sensitive to new shoes and these were comfortable straight out of the box. I am a firm believer and will wear Merrells as long as they are available. These shoes are also great for any outdoor activity as long as it isn't freezing outside.

1st pair of Merrell's. Compared to the Timberland XCR's I'm replacing, the Merrell's feel much more stable & comfortable. If they perform like I hope, I'll never buy a different brand. Gotta love Gore-Tex too!

Very comfortable--first shoe I've been able to wear in months without pain from plantar fasciitis.

I have plantar fasciitis--and this is the first shoe in a long time that I wear it, I have absolutely NO PAIN.
FYI--I ordered 1/2 size larger and they felt slightly loose when I first put them on. I have normal to slightly wide feet and a high arch.
They fit perfectly.
I am so happy.

I'm on my feet all day long and the shoes are very comfortable. I use these shoes everyday in wet grass and my feet are always dry.

Wanted this to be the perfect shoe for walking and standing all day in wet weather but the quest continues....These were too heavy and stiff. The rubber toe box cut into the top of my foot when I stood on tiptoe or knelt down. Also I couldn't quite get the laces right which might be because I have very high arches. Not a bad shoe and I might have kept them if they hadn't been so expensive. Had to send them back.

I love this shoe! I have small feet and it is hard to find good quality, comfy shoes, but these fit the bill (and my feet). I am going to buy another pair so I can switch off once in a while.
