I bought these shoes for trail walking and outdoor work. I was expecting them to be tough and heavy but they are actually extremely lightweight and still tough. They are super comfortable in terms of shape, but could perhaps use an insert if you like your shoes a little softer inside. Low cut around the ankle so if you are on hills they don't jam against your anklebone. They are nice looking - a rugged shoe, but not big and clunky looking. Love them!

Great support and traction. As in most Keens, they run small so I got a half size larger. Feel great right out of the box. I'm ready for anything in these! The only negative is the shoe laces are too short, which makes it a challenge to tie.

I'm on the go all day. These shoes really keep up. They have great tread for all kinds of surfaces, and should hold up to the roughest terrain. The foot bed is roomy giving the toes wiggle room, and the arch support is comfortable. I plan on wearing these shoes all day, every day. They feel great and look great!

Poor Performance

Bottom Line:

This shoe was recommended for hiking. It is a very stable shoe but a bit heavy. The downside of the shoe is the design. It needs a longer tongue and two string holes added to allow you to pull the ankle back. This is critical when going down hill so your toes don't jam into the shoe.
