I have just come out of a cast for left triple bone broken ankle.....a friend had a pair and I loved the look so bought my first pair. Of course I could only wear one...12 weeks later I am wearing them w/ such comfort.
They are very supportive. If my ankle swells i unzip them.
Please never stop making this style.
They are very hip w/ todays flats.
I was sure I'd wear a 7, but a 6.5 fit very well for me. All my toes are the same length, they do not taper so if your toes taper buy the size you normally do. I am kinda wide footed and these are not tight but they are elastic.
Thank you for making my back to walking so comfortable.

Am a Realtor with various foot problems. Find these an answer to my footwear dilema and am now going to order my third pair (different colors). They wear real well and keep their good looks and shape after a lot of hard work, too. Value is there. Please, Merrell, don't discontinue them or make them "better"!! I would be lost without them and they are perfect just the way they are.
The shoe is flexible enough to put in an orthotic. I wear them from the minute I get up in the morning. I own eight pairs i different colors. Wish they came in more bright colors for summer wear.
They have become my uniform. Great for causual walking, shopping, doing yoga. Love them!!

Very comfortable. I need a slip-on shoe with support as I have 3 very young kids. I can just slip them on and go!!

Rough on the back of my heal. Needs to be a bit padded. Gave blisters. If you are narrow footed and can wear tight fitting shoes that do not bother the back of your heal, than this is a great shoe for you. If it was padded than I could wear this shoe everyday!!!!

I had a serious illness and had to have my hip and knee prothesises removed. As a result I spent 87 days without the ability to walk. When my knee prothesis was put back in, I had to learn to walk again. I had to have a shoe which was firmly attached to my foot, gave support and would not slip when I walked! I bought this shoe sight unseen and it was PERFECT. I still do not have my hip prothesis, but have learned to walk wiith a walker. I teach K-2 grade from a wheelchair and they are perfect. They are light weight, bend well with my foot, and are stylish enough to wear with almost everything. The mesh ones are cool and the suede are warm with socks. Therefore, I have 5 pairs - and will buy more. I wear them everyday. I would recommend them to anyone!!

I purchased these shoes as I expect to do a lot of walking on an upcoming vacation. Tested them out last weekend and they passed with flying colors. One improvement I would recommend is a sturdier arch lift.

I wear this shoe almost daily. It is comfortable, stylish and goes with most pants outfits! I have to walk a lot in my work and my feet never hurt at the end of the day.

The perfect slip on or walking shoe. I bought these shoes for travel and for style. I love the look and the zip up feature seems to make my feet look a bit smaller which is unusual for me as I wear a size 8. I bought two pairs, one in black and one in white. The zipper is a bit uneasy to operate at times but that's the only drawback I've found. the more I wear these, the more I like them.

I mostly bought these to take on an extended motorcycle trip - so they had to pack small. What a great choice for so much more! They are light and the lining is smooth and soft (a relief from heavy boots) - they worked great as slippers, walking shoes (even on wet pavement) and for all-around comfort. Looking good was a bonus. I normally won't wear shoes without some kind of sock - but these worked fine barefoot or with a thin sock for extended walking around town. I have a VERY high arch so I don't zip them all the way up yet, but with the facing under the zipper they are fine. I love them - I am going to buy more! (My husband wishes they made a men's version).

The Merrell Barrado is my new favorite shoe! I now own fourpairs....tan, silver, and navy in the mesh, and brown in suede.I will order the black suede for fall and winter wear. [...] Although the Barrado is somewhat expensive Ithink these shoes are well worth the price.

These shoes are great! I teach preschoolers and need a comfortable, supportive shoe. I have a high arch and these support my foot wonderfully. I can't say enough good about them!
I like these shoes so much I bought the winter and summer version. Comfortable and lite. Easy to put on and off. One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought and still give support.

This is my third pair (different colors) of Merrell Barrados. I just love them. There are styles for summer and winter. My secret is I put them in the laundry. I've had a white pair for two years; I have washed them at least half a dozen times and they come out unscathed. I've recommended these shoes to others. A friend bought some and loves them too. Obviously, I am a fan. Soooo comfy, sooooo easy.

This is my favorite all around shoe. When I'm on the go, I always grab my Merrells. They look fabulous, I get favorable comments, come in many colors, and really give good support to my feet. I have this shoe in 5 different colors and want more. They last forever and never look tired or old. My biggest challenge is picking out another color. Keep them coming Merrell!
Pricing is a little costly - wish there were more sale items for affordability. They wear so well that the cost pays for itself. I am so happy "feet" when wearing these shoes and never want want to be without them.

Wore it on a cross country plane trip. Sometimes planes are cold so it worked better than a flip flop. But my destination was very hot, and the mesh on this shoe made it adaptable to warm weather too.

Great summer shoes - very comfortable - I have hard to fit wide feet with a high instep and a bunion and these are the most comfortable shoes I've been able to find - had a pair for last summer - bought another pair for this summer! I've even sent them thru the wash multiple times with no bad results!

I bought these shoes so that I could wear my dressier sandals at work and easily zip these right on for my breaks (I go stairclimbing or walking). I walk 1.25 miles to and from work and use these for this purpose as well. They are very comfortable just like all my other Merrells. Only con is that they are a little too roomy for me so I don't even zip and unzip them. I think the next size down would have been too small though. Great shoes!

This is a super comfortable and stylish shoe for everyday wear!
I usually wear a size 9 but an 81/2 fits just right so they run a little large. We live at the beach and they are cool, comfortable and keep my 62 year old feet so "happy" !

The shoes are feel like house slippers and are very comfortable. But they don't make good walking shoes. I use them for walking short distances. They felt a little strange at first but now I just love them and have ordered another pair in a different color.

This is a fantastic casual shoe that goes well with jeans, shorts, workout clothes. Great for travel because it slips on and off easily and is lightweight. I have this shoe in several colors and wear them all the time.

A comfortable shoe but I have to wear knee highs with them, not socks, as they suck my socks down into the shoe after just a few steps. Fine with Knee high though. More arach support would make walking long distance more comfortable. But overall a comfortable travel shoei

Shoe is great for travel especially where a lot of walking is involved. They are light weight and not bulky to pack. This shoe is also be my favorite shoe for wearing at home, especially if you are on your feet a lot.

It's the way i expected it to be, light and comfortable. It does not hurt my toes so i'm using it most of the time. It goes with pants, short and capri.
I bought these shoes specifically for long travel days. After 18 hours of time spent in airplanes and airports, my feet felt great. They were not hot nor tired, very easy on and off for security too. They are cute enough to wear out to dinner.

I bought these awesome shoes and wore them all around Egypt. No break-in period needed. They are light weight for packing and I washed them in the sink--they dried quickly. I love these shoes. The fit like a glove. Just purchased them in another color!

A good pregnant woman shoe. My feet often swell and are hot. So I've been wearing flip flops, even when it's very cold out. I wanted a shoe that was lightweight and breathable and stretchy. This is the shoe. I also don't have to tie shoelaces (a challenge lately) I'm back in shoes again and happy! They also look quite sharp too. The only downside is the lack of support in the arch, I added Superfeet insoles and am good to go.
I wore these shoes out for a day of shopping and when I got home, my feet were so sore. These shoes have barely any padding on the footbed and I felt like I was just walking on the ground with nothing between my foot and the pavement. This pair was also a bit narrow for me.

I wear this shoe as an everyday shoe. I've also worn them for walking a few miles at a time and it was comfortable although not as supportive as a walking or running shoe. Very cute with jeans. I love merrells in general, they are the most comfortable brand for my feet.

I bought this shoe for hospital work. It's great, super light and almost like being barefoot. Looks great with black pants, almost formal but still modern looking. lots of compliment from people. easy to wash (washing machine) and dries fast. Cons: not very warm, your feet will get very wet with rain (or any wet street). the sole is thin, so does not absorb the heel impact very well. Will certainly buy another one in silver to wear with shorts and traveling etc.

I love Merrill shoes, I love the look of these and wanted to like them, but I ordered two different sizes with the same results.
Rubbing on back of heel, with both 9.5 and 10's, No arch support,
my foot actually hurt after I wore them for a day.
Sorry Merrill but this one is not for me, but it's an adorable shoe so, it may fit someone else differently, i would suggest trying it, because they are so cute.

I especially like these shoes because they can be worn with out socks in the summer because the mesh material breaths and can also be worn in the winter with socks. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and they last forever. This is my second pair and I wear them all the time.
These shoes just arrived yesterday. i walked 1 mile from the train to work and they are so comfy! I have plantar fasciitis and these give me enough support without being bulky.

I was on a business trip, having dinner. Afterwards, I took a little stroll around this shopping mall and saw these shoes in the window of a shoe store but it was late and the store was closed. I was so intrigued that I came back the next day to check them out before returning home. When I tried them on, I was truly shocked by how immediately comfortable they were (like slippers). I purchased a pair in the silver metallic color as well as some thongs, also by Merrell. I started wearing them as soon as I returned home and was so impressed by their comfort that I went online and purchased another pair of the Barrados in the black mesh and several colors in the thong style. Since then, I have purchased another pair of the Barrados in the silver metallic as well as the navy and white. I also purchased the suede version in lime, seal and black as well as other styles by Merrell. I have honestly never worn a shoe as comfortable as Merrell...in all the styles I've purchased. I spend my days at work, standing and walking, on concrete and these shoes have changed my life. My feet and my back have benefited immeasurably. In addition, I turned my best friend and my cousin on to these shoes and now both own several pairs in several styles. I cannot say enough good things about these shoes...nor can my friend and my cousin. Both thank me repeatedly for their 'happy feet'.

These shoes are great for travel! They slip on and off easily in airport security lines and the little bit of stretch ensures comfort throughout the day. I can walk all day in them and they feel like slippers. I have washed one pair over 25 times (We live at the beach) and they look new!

I already had a pair of these and ordered a pair for my 75 year old aunt for Christmas. She loved them just as I do. They are extremely light and you feel as if you are not wearing anything. They look great with jeans or capris. My only complaint is that they only come in medium width.
