I wear sandal most of the year as my feet don't like being cramped up in shoes and socks. I'm a fan of Teva and liked the idea of the Toachi with covered toes for rock climbing, hiking and water sports. At first both sandals felt comfortable but soon my left foot began feeling a lump under the middle of the ball of my foot. I couldn't make adjustments to releive the discomfort. I called Teva and they suggested they were defective. Onlineshoes.com was very understanding and helpful in accepting them back and sending a replacement. The replacements have the exact same issue. If they hurt my feet walking around my home, there's no way they'll be comfortable on the trail. Today I'm returning the second pair for a refund.

I don't know if this is an issue with a certain "lot" of the size 11.5 Toachi's or just a poor design.

I must add that Onlineshoes has been amazing in their response. I've been a customer and will continue to be a customer.

I found the comfortable, durable, stylish "Teva" 10 years ago. I loved them, but strayed for a few short years to try others thinking I could get the same quality at a cheaper price. Wrong!! I should have never left! Teva's are worth every penny! These shoes have it all! My wife bought my three young boys each a pair of Toachi's (the only shoes that they beat on and beat on all summer, but they don't wear out or give up!) and I wanted a pair. These shoes are so comfortable, waterproof, a covered toe that is protected while I play everything under the sun with my boys, and yet nice looking enough to go casual in the evening. I'll never stray from "Teva" again!

I wanted a beach sandal that protected my toes and was also comfortable when I walked on the beach in or out of the water. I have tried several other beach sandals but this one by far is the best.
