This is a marvelous shoe. I bought these as an alternative to Crocs. I love the versitility, style, breathability, and comfort. The fold down heel is a great addition. I haven't had the shoes long enough to determine if this will cause the fabric to seperate from the outsole. If you do not plan on wearing these shoes in the water often, consider purchasing a half size larger, as a cushioned sock will make the shoe feel tight across the top of the foot. Also, if you are going to wear the shoes with the heel flipped down, it might feel a bit small. Wearing this shoe without socks is a bad idea. People will be able to see your ugly toes and the neoprene will make your foot sweat (not attractive). All thing considered, this is an excellent shoe and I look foreward to my next pair of Salomons. These water shoes performed better than anticipated and then the smart design on top of that. The shoes drained well and stayed on my feet without collecting anything inside the shoe while playing in the water. They are very comfortable.
