Best Uses:

I bought these because I liked the look of them as an alternative to plain white athletic shoes. Overall I'm happy. They seem to run a bit large. They are Eurpoean size, and I found the ones I bought were slightly larger than a standard American size 11. I find a lot of shoes too narrow, but these are wide enough for my feet. Comfortable and light weight. I have only worn them casually and to work, so I can't comment on their outdoor/water use.

I really like the looks. The lack of cushioning seems to be quit uncomfortable on balls of feet in short order.

I have another pair of Ecco brand shoes. And I knew that I needed to buy another so not to wear these out. These Ultra Terrain shoes are every bit as comfortable as my first pair. I have recommended this shoe to my fellow co-workers.
