It was a heavier flip then a normal flip flop but it is comfortable. Although the first time I wore it the strap rubbed the top of my foot. I have worn them since not as long and I have not had them rub as much.
I'm not a big flip-flop fan, but decided to give these a shot after hearing several coworkers rave about how supportive and comfortable they are. The Chaco Flip is surprisingly supportive for a flip and they sure do look good. I have to mention that the sandal straps chafed pretty good for the first day I wore them. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to comfortably wear them for extended periods of time, but was assured they would break in. They did! I am really happy I picked up a pair of flips - they've been a great summer sandal.

The slight additional weight is a non issue due to it's support. I can wear this flip flop all day! This is my 4th pair of Chaco Flips.

I've had a love/hate relationship with most of the sandals I've owned, not these. They provide great support and fit. I like the nylon strap which provides a bit of flex and stays nice and cool. The low profile look of these shoes is just what I wanted. The support of a comfortable shoe but feels like you are wearing nothing. Just need summer to arrive now so I can never take them off!

The shoe overall is very functional but the strap hurt between the toes.

This product will not "smash" where you feel rocks and uneven ground underfoot.

We recieved our product and tried them out for the first time when we were out of town and even though we did not break the shoe in, It still felt as if the molded my feet.

I am a Chacos veteran myself and decide to buy these for my husband. He loves them. He said that the fit was a bit snug at first but the straps have since stretched out and are now perfect. He raves about the arch support and comfort. In addition to the comfort and style, the Chacos company also offers services to resole the sandal, cut and adjust the trap to your specifications, or completely replace the strap if you have a dog that is going through a chewing phase. Highly recommend. Chacos makes a great shoe.

This is the second pair of Chacos that I've bought for my husband. He loves them! Unfortunately, our silky terrier loves them also....he chewed through the toe strap on the first pair which devastated my husband. I immediately ordered another pair [...]. I have a pair of Chaco flips too that I keep out of reach of the dog!

I love these flip flops. I use them inside and out. I wash them in a pillow case as needed and the come out like new. I have even hiked in them. The footbed gives amazing support, they are so comfortable.

This is a GREAT sandal/flip flop. My only qualm is that if you may have to break the sandal in when you first get it. My husband had some chaffing in between his toes where the thong is even though our friends did not experience this. After being broken in, this sandal is great!

Chaco Flip's feel like an old friend the first time you put them on. They are light, comfortable and still substantial enough for serious wear. Should last many years.

This is the second pair of Chaco's I purchased this summer. I wore Reef in the past, but these are a little more substantial and just as light. Good sole, comfortable footbed and will last many years.

I bought Chaco's Flip after burning through two or three other pairs of flip-flops in the past few years none of which were cheap. I hesitated at first due to the price; these are about the most expensive flip-flops you can buy, but oh man the quality is so much better than anything else out there. They are simply superb, the sole is dense and contours well to your foot. The straps are durable, dense fabric, but soft on the skin. Unlike 99% of other flip-flops out there these actually provide support to your arch and heel. My Chaco's usually can be found by the door - I slip them on at least once or twice a day when I'm running out for an errand. They have taken a beating on Chicago's sidewalks and keep going and looking great. And interestingly enough they get compliments!

I bought these flip flops for my fiance and I own a pair as well, these are by far the BEST flip flops for the summer! The quality is great and they are super comfortable on!! Worth the price!

I got this pair for DH and he likes it. Chaco makes very good quality shoes. We have several pairs in the family for each of us.
