My husband is on his feet all day, and is prone to back issues if his shoes don't have enough support. The Keen is just what he is looking for, and with the neutral colors he is able to wear them with khakis or jeans.

This is a great shoe. Bought my first pair about two years ago from a store. 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. Of course they discontinue all great products. Found this on line in my size and bought another pair. Just need to use my coupon for another pair in graphite if they ever have it. Or the the Keen water sandle.

I have about 5 pairs of Keens and this is one of the best. It is like a cross between a trail shoe and a sneaker and is very comfortable. Even though it fits true to size, I went up a half-size from my Keen Portsmouth (which runs wide in the toe). The fit may also depend on how thick the socks are that you want to wear with them. The laces run down the shoe in a curve--not a straight line like sneakers--and this is a neat appearance (maybe why it is called Bend).
One of the best Keens I own!

Some Keens (like the Portsmouth) are very wide in the toe area--this one isn't but feels just as comfortable. I wear a 10-1/2 in the Portsmouth but an 11 in this shoe. It is as comfortable as wearing sneakers. I love this shoe!

I wore these shoes for 5 weeks of backpacking on the John Muir Trail in the summer of 2007. They were terrific. I tried every shoe at [...] and these were the only ones with a big enough toe box and a comfortable fit. I feel happy every time I put them on. Disadvantages: 1. On my first pair the side seams rubbed blisters but a couple of Engo patches took care of that. 2. The arch support is inadequate but I replaced the insoles with Hapads. 3. After 2 months of hiking & backpacking they were completely trashed, while my partner's Merrills were still going strong, so that was a bit disappointing. Still, these are the only shoes that really fit me these days, so I can cope...

Keen's Bend is very comfortable and durable. I wear them for extensive hiking and for everyday use. However, they need more ventilation; I have to change socks during the day. The laces deteriorate rapidly.
Lot of shoe for the price, very pleased!

I bought these for my husband who has problems with his feet. He claims they are extremely comfortable and easy on his feet. It has taken us at least 7yrs to find a good shoe for his feet. Keen is it!!!

This is a very well-designed and constructed shoe. It is snug on the foot, without feeling cramped or hot. The toe box is roomy, as on all Keens. The sole is thick and ridgid, creating a solid platform for hiking on varied terrain in all conditions. The style is unique enough to be noticeable without being flashy.

Returned two pairs for a refund - On both pairs the seam stitching came apart on day 1. Definitely not a well made shoe.

These a great shoes. I have very sensitive feet and I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes. Once I figured out the sizing on these Keen's (get one size larger than actual size), the shoes were an instant fit. And they look great.
