I love Keens. This shoe is meant more for outdoors and I just needed a good treadmill shoe. I loved the openings in the shoe for fresh air. It was a great looking shoe.

Good, Keen quality; look nice; back is like sneakers, so no rocks can get in. Only problem is that the toebox seems to be less high than most Keens, which hurts my feet.

I average about 5 miles a day of walking, and I bought these shoes for walking, but I have found myself wearing them throughout the day. The style of the shoe fits my lifestyle, and I have been browsing the site looking for another pair. I am 35, and this is the best shoe I have worn.

This shoes has plenty of ventilation for those of us with sweaty feet. It is comfortable from day one and there is no need to break them in.
The fit feels like a tennis shoe rather than a sandal.
I own other Keens (Taos, Arroyo, Newport) and they all have been A+.

Order half size bigger.

Despite the one drawback I mentioned, which may not be a problem at all for lots of folk, these are comfortable, almost sandal-like action shoes -- mine will go to the gym as well as to lots of other "active" places. These Keen Selways are keepers!

Husband who lived in cheap sneakers because "why pay a lot for something that's no more comfortable?", now happily dwells in his Selway Keen's. He's finally found a shoe that offers more comfort, practicality and versatility than any sneaker. He wears his Keens with his business suit and with his jeans and tee-shirt and looks at ease and appropriate in any situation and for any occasion. He even discovered that for airport security check lines, Keens are perfect to slip on and off without worrying about re-tying laces. The whole family, including son on college campus and daughter in high school, has converted to Keens.

OK shoe...Returned it for the Arroyo....
