These shoes wear well and are great as a walking shoe. The arch support and heal cushion suit me very well as I have had hip and knee replacements and need a fairly substantial shoe for my daily walks. The hemp material allows them to breath as opposed to a leather upper type of shoe.

THESE ARE MY FAVORITE SHOES.
I buy a new pair of these every time they wear out because they are so comfortable, they breath so well, and I love the style. I would wear them to work if I could, but I can't, so I just wear them in my house or on errands most of the time. CAN'T LOSE with this shoe.

Good looking, more summer like fabric for warm months, breathable, good support. A little harder to get into than regular Moc if you have a high instep. Great arch suport.

Looks good, fits great, slips on hands free, and not only is leather free (a vegan shoe is important to me) but is made from one of the world's most wonderful materials. Having said that, there is a problem with hemp supplier(s) for these shoes that must be addressed. I love Merrell shoes, especially Mocs and particularly Hemp Mocs and have worn them for years. Before I found them I had Deep E and Echo hemp shoes. But the same problem plagued all of them. After not much more than a month's wear, the hemp begins to tear, actually to shred, along the creases where the uppers flex. I have to sew them back together repeatedly to extend their lives. Ounce for ounce, hemp is stronger than steel and much stronger than cotton, but, thus far, canvas shoes out last woven hemp. It's either something to do with the weave or the hemp fibers themselves. It drives me crazy. It's good business for you and Merrell, as I have to replace shoes more than annually, shoes which should last several years, and must buy them in pairs, with one always ready as a back up. Please, you have to do some research into the problem and find a supplier who produces better hemp fabric, and maybe invents something like a ripstop weave for it. These Merrells are the best made I've found, but their downfall continues to be what attracted me to them, the woven hemp uppers.

p.s. You might like to offer a water resist spay with them, as they soak up wetness like a sponge and can stain easily. Related to this, you might suggest to Merrell they manufacture these in grey as well as natural.

This shoe is so comfortable as are all the Merrell shoes I own. My mother has had foot surgeries for bunions and had to wear saddles most times but the mocs and moc slip ons are perfect for her. My hemp mocs get rave reviews, men commit how they like the looks of them so men don't hestitate to buy them...

I love this moc, especially the color. It seems less flexible than the Merrell Winter Moc (black) which I'm use to.
A great shoe for a walk on a summer evening or out on the town. And being made from hemp, it should be quite durable and fairly easy to keep clean.

I think I got mine too wet a number of times and they started fraying on the edge of the toe. But the looks and comfort will keep me coming back. Probably impossibe to wear out the sole.
