These might be the best winter boots I've ever owned. I've already put about 50 miles on them--trails, gravel roads, wet grassy areas--and my feet have never stayed warmer or dryer. Normally my feet perspire a lot but in these boots they are toasty warm and dry, so they'er very breathable. Extremely lightweight too. There is a small amount of heel slippage; because of the upper, they can't possibly grip my feet as well as the original H2 sandals (of which I have 4 pairs) but they do offer the same stability platform without being too stiff or too flimsy. I love these boots and need to get an alternate pair, because I'll be wearing these every day this winter.

I just got these so I don't have an opinion on how well they will hold up etc, but I thought I'd write a review to note a potential sizing issue. I saw that a previous reviewer had mentioned that her husband needed to exchange for a half-size larger. I would normally get a mens 11, but they were out of 11 and I took a chance and ordered 11 1/2. They fit well. I suggest you consider ordering up a half size, especially if you would wear with heavy socks. This might only be germane for particular sizes, of course. I know that my new 11 1/2s fit my size 11 feet well.
These seem to be well made and cozy boots. Nice light weight for insulated winter boots. My opinion of them is positive based on my initial examination. I gave them 4 stars since it seemed inappropriate to give them a 5 based on only initial examination.
These boots are amazing!!! Comfortable and warm!!! LOVE THEM!!!

After hearing my constant ravings about my own Keen Wintersports, my husband wanted a pair. His first pair was a half size too small, but we quickly got a replacement, and they couldn't be more comfortable. Perfect for dealing with all the snow and slush we got this winter.
An unusual use: I am nursing a broken ankle, and these boots provide the proper support and stability, as well as being adjustable and easy to get on and off. The Dr. said they were as good as my brace. I also get lots of compliments on them.

I own many pairs of Keen shoes and sandals, but this is my first pair of Keen boots. These boots have the same comfort as the Newport sandal, and are completely waterproof. What a great idea to have soft waterproof, warm, flexible fabric above the ankle! The most comfortable and practical boots I have ever owned.

Perfect cold weather walking boot. Slogs through slush and snow and is warm and waterproof, great for dogwalking. I couldn't find it in my women's size, so I ordered it in men's minus two sizes, and it fits perfectly. Just tighten the cord.
I currently own more Keens than I care to admit, and these are right up there with the best!
