A very light boot that breaths on hot days, but yet keeps your feet warm and dry on cold days. Would say that if you only have one pair of boots this is the pair to have.

I would prefer that the rubber in the toe of the shoe wrapped up over the entire vertical portion of the toe to provide better protection when you are on your knees or stub your toe. Otherwise it is a great shoe, this is my second pair. I wear them for work and play.

Would be perfect if toe had rand for better protection from scuffing and to aid in occasional rock scrambling.
I would buy this product again.

Vasque boot is a very comfortable hiking and hunting boot. It provides an unusually stable platform on flat and off camber surfaces. The sole tread configuration helps maintain stability in loose DG and larger pebbly surfaces. The boot is so comfortable that more miles are being hiked with less fatigue.
I would buy Vasque again and again.

Most every morning I hike for about two hours before heading out to my part-time job. Trails and logging roads ascend the small mountain near my home. These boots are a dream. The support and traction they provide give me great confidence in my footing. I like the Vasque boots I have purchased over the years, the size is always right on.

I wear my pair at work on a concrete floor. The shock absorbtion is great, and the stability for weight ratio is unmatched. I have backpacked in these, not with a heavy pack, but for anything short of a full-out load, they're super.

8 hours the first day. Hiked on slick rock, lava, loose sand and sandstone within the first week. NO discomfort of any kind. Best experience with this type of shoe EVER!!! I hope these stay in the line for years to come. I will be back for more.

Going down stairs, caught second step from bottom with right heel. Missed bottom step, with right foot taking most of the weight stepping onto ground. Received no injury to either foot-ankle-legs. Excellent all around shoe for whatever one is doing while wearing these shoes; walking, hiking, driving a vehicle, etc. Have stood for over an hour on a hard surface with very little discomfort to my feet.

I purchased this boot as a replacement. I was going to British Columbia and Alaska and needed to update my gear. This boot was comfortable right out of the box, very easy to break in. The weather in the Pacific Northwest went from sunny to rain and fog to glacial in Alaska ..the boot performed perfectly - comfortable, warm and dry feet are always a good thing. I recommend these boots highly.

Have worn current pair of Vasque Breeze GTX XCR for fifteen months daily. The uppers are faded somewhat. The vibram sole has worn slightly on right shoe heal, otherwise sole wear is hardly noticeable. Wear orthonic in shoe which makes the fit excellent. Am beginning to notice a slight feeling in bottoms of the ball of my feet, yet the interior of the shoe shows no wear. Live in desert climate inwhich air temps and ground temps exceed 110 degrees. The shoe breaths so well and the insole and vibram sole provide my feet protection from the temps that when I remove the shoes, my feet are slightly warm, the socks slightly moist. Excellent shoe!
