After three hours of shoe shopping, and hands nearly bleeding from tying laces, the Merrell Radius Mid WP made me feel like I was home! I bounced back and forth, always looking for something more comfortable, then I realized I was already home. I will buy many more pairs.

I had a total ankle replacement in late December and was looking for a light weight hiking boot with good support. This boot is the total package for me. I started walking 3 months after surgery in a shoe, then bought these boots thinking they would help me get around better. What a treat they have been, even though I'm not a hiker. I put a thicker insole in because of my codition, and will go back to the original one's in a few months. I plan on buying another pair soon in a different style.

Purchased hikers just before a week long trip at camp. Hiked multiple times with varying conditions from sea level to mountains over multiple miles. Great boots even without any break in period.

Living in Colorado we bike and hike every weekend. We love merrill shoes and boots and own several different pairs.
We would not think of Hiking in a different brand. Comfort is everything.

Runs on the small side. Could even go one size larger to fit correctly. Waterproof but leaves the foot feeling moist. Could use a little better venting system
