Fits the bill for aging, arthritic toes - a stiff-soled shoe with a roomy toe box to keep me on the trails! Also works great as a shoe for driving to the trailhead.

I'm a truck driver in NYC and I do a ton of walking in the streets and on construction sites plus the constant jumping in and out of the truck. I had a pair of the XCR low shoes, and thought they would be even better with more ankle support, found the same shoe at your web site and bought them, and have never regretted it.will buy at lest another pair before they go away(for years down the road when these on my feet wear out)
