I have plantar faciatus and switching to Merrells has been the best treatment. They feel great and have good support. I switch between various "Cameleons" for daily wear.

I was looking for a shoe I could wear to work which would be comfortable for all of the walking around the office and then do a one hour walk after work in and this one is perfect. I probably wear four different shoes during the work week but am happy when this pair goes with the color scheme. So much more comfortable than my Rockport black shoes, even though those aren't bad. I wish Merrell would make these in black as well. I have an earlier version from about 1.5 years ago that is a light brown and they have been great too.

Loved the shoes. Look great, feel great. Only issue was the rubber sole separates from the shoe, leaving the shoe looking somewhat tattered after a normal amount of wear.

I teach school and wear my Chameleon II Travelers to work. I stand in them all day on concrete floors. They have been wonderfully comfortable. I bought this shoe so that I wouldn't look as casual in them as I did my Chameleon XCRs. I have loved this shoe is cleans up with a little mink oil and looks great day in and day out.

I purchased the Chameleon II shoes after trying a few all around light hiking shoes for a trip to Austria and Slovenia. Packing light was the goal, and one pair of shoes for the 10 day vacation was the quest.

These shoes were incredibly comfortable, right out of the box. No break-in period required. The soft leather and cushiony inserts made wearing these shoes a great pleasure. I wore them on all day city excursions as well as hiking the Triglav and Austrian Alps. No complaints, but one - these shoes don't have a lot of rubber around the toe, and they weren't advertised as such, so they get a bit of scuffing when hiking rocks and scrabble.

Overall, I love the Chamelon II shoes. I highly recommend them.

I spend a LOT of time on my feet and these shoes never let me down. Fit like a glove, very durable, and easily the most comfortable shoes I've owned. This is my second pair of Chameleons and they won't be my last.

These shoes are great for travel because you can wear them for all occasions including exercise. They look good enough to wear with a jacket and tie or with jeans. They are an excellent cross between dress shoes and hiking shoes. With ongoing applications of waterproof bootpolish they are very water resistant.

I have worn mine on average 4-5 days per week since November 2006 and they are stilo in excellent condition with good tread left on the sole. They're so good I have bought an extra pair for when these eventually pack it in.
