I have had these shoes for three months now and had them from Aruba to the mountains of WV. They are comfortable, have great traction, are completely waterproof and have good stability for a low cut. My work involves routinely walking agricultural land and it has rained 17 of the last 21 days. These shoes provide excellent service on the farm and the trout stream. The classic vibram "clover leaf" sole gives good traction on rock, wet grass and mud. The sole does hold mud but not nearly to the extent of a deeper more aggressive tread. If you are like me you will be truly pleased.
Great for urban exploring or walking through nature. These shoes are comfortable after the breaking in period, due to the leather material they are made of. They will run a little wider than a tennis shoe but not enough to purchase a smaller size. I would suggest that you double up on socks or wear wool with these buggers. Enjoi.
The shoes wear about a half size bigger than labeled. After a break in period of about a week, they are fairly comfortable. The shoes are pretty stiff at first and they gave me blisters the first couple of times I wore them. If you are considering these shoes, dont think I am not happy with them just that they took a little while to break in and get used to. This is not something I am used to but is wasn't a deal breaker.
