Great shock absorbing quality, a must have shoe for all sky drivers!
Definitely appealing to the masses as you stroll by. Great conversation starter. People always inquire “Where did you get those shoes. Natural response Onlineshoes.com
I bought this shoe for my husband. All he has ever bought before is Merrell. To his surprise he found that Patagonia Drifter shoe is Very comfortable. No break in time and true to size. Good for all weather and hiking.
Great:
* traction on snow and ice
* cushioning
* width (like Keen's)
* look
I am an elementary teacher and avid hiker, so I am on my feet all day. The drifter is the ideal comfort shoe for me because of its comfort and durability. Basically, it is the best shoe I ahve ever purchased.
I needed a shoe that was durable that wouldn't wear out quickly. The Vibram sole will hold up to any kind of terrain that the state of Colorado can bring. The "tongue" of the shoe is attached so it dosen't fall down and keeps debris out. Best shoe I have ever had!!
I have worn numerous hiking boots/shoes from Merrell, Vasque, La Sportiva, and The North Face. For an initial offering, the Drifter ranks with these companies shoes. It is supportive with nice leather uppers. The traction is provided by Vibram soles which have been durable thus far. These shoes can go for a 10 mile hike on maintained trails. Rough, non-maintained trails would require more supportive boots. For those of you who don't venture out of the city, feel free to wear the Drifters as casual shoes. These shoes are comfortable, supportive, and well-made. On the downside, the looks or styling doesn't do it for me and the shoe gives off a "leathery" smell. Minor complaints. Overall, this eco-hiker earns 4 stars.
