Have owned these shoes over two years, and worn them as work shoes for the last six months, 8 hours a day on concrete. Wore them on a 9-day motorcycle trip to Grand Canyon/Las Vegas. They are probably the best shoes I have ever owned! Very airy, very stable on uneven terrain; dry out very quickly, do not absorb odors; and wear very well, with regard to durability. Only fault is the lining inside the heel has come unglued on one shoe, but got my dollars worth long ago! Am planning on replacing soon, and will be another pair of the same brand, same size, and same color! Thanks Merrell!!! Keep up the good work!

The Ventilator Moab does exactly what the shoe is designed to do: Keep your feet airy, stable, and comfortable. I wear these shoes most everyday to work in - they are so comfortable to wear. The Merrell quality is there with every step you make.
I have compared these shoes to the Chamleon II Stretch pairs that I wear year round and they are just excellent in the summer heat thanks to the "ventilation" they provide.
Since I have back and leg problems that restrict my walking ability to include an instep, having the extra stability (not to mention, comfort) makes these lightweight shoes a GREAT buy.

I've had these shoes for just about 2 years now and love them. In fact, I'm replacing them with a new pair of the same name, brand and almost identical color. I can't imagine a better compliment. They're not my only outdoor/trail running/hiking shoes (I have some Merrell and Salomons that I swap in/out depending on the conditions and trails I'll be on) but these are my day-to-day favorites, bar none.
I've totally replaced my sneakers and gym shoes with these and cannot imagine a better shoe for weight lifting and general workouts as well (these shoes are more stable than any cross-trainer I've tried!).

It splits time with North Face, Niki and other Merrells. I don't like to wear the same shoe all the time. However, that being said, it is perhaps the most comfortable (other than Merrill Radius) shoe I own.

This is the shoe I go back to time and again. I wear them daily, but they are tough enough for hiking and rougher terrain. They offer great support, look awesome, and are very reasonably priced for the quality you get. The Ventilator model breathes a little better and is a little lighter, which I also like. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I am a real Trikke enthusiast. I have been looking for a good shoe for a couple of years that would withstand the wear and tear of my daily trikke workout. THIS IS IT. What a great shoe! The body motion on the trikke is just like in-line skating or skiing and the Moab Ventilator has great stability and it takes the daily wear and tear of use. I live in south Georgia and it gets HOT here. The Moab Ventilator really lets my feet breathe and keeps them cooler when I'm riding. I just love them. [...]

I initially bought this shoe for hiking, but discovered that it was a very comfortable shoe for travel and casual wear, as I was breaking them in. I did use it for hiking the upper falls trail at Yosemite NP this June. Vey good traction, very little slippage with hiking socks and just the right amount of stiffness and weight. They "feel" right when I wear them. They also haven't developed any issues like some shoes after a few months of wear (rubbing, blisters, adverse wear, etc.)
