I have had Merrell shoes before and have been impressed. I am hard on shoes... and comfort and reliability is key too. So I am picky when it comes to what I will wear on my feet. I do alot of hiking, but having these shoes on all day never seems to matter. Right out of the store they feel awesome!!! I recently purchased The Chameleon Wrap Stretch Gortex XCR ...also by Merrell...ANOTHER awesome shoe which gives the benefit of Gortex to deal with wet conditions. These two shoes have NO COMPARISON in the shoe market. If Merrell quits making these two styles, then I will go barefoot!!!

Merrells always have a very comfortable shoe and very durable.
Would Like to see the same shoes done VEGAN , and it can be done just using synthetic leather which is as strong and durable , no need to harm animals making shoes, unfortunately , it is hard to find a good hiking/ walking shoe that has no leather.

Theses shoes feel 1/2 size smaller than the original Mocs. I have 5 pair and love the Moc slip ons. I know I will love this shoe also when I get the right size. They fit ok when not wearing socks, but with the socks the shoe is very hard to get on. I am returning them for a 1/2 size larger shoe.

This being my second pair of these babies, I am not disappointed! As I hike the backside of Camelback biweekly, I had forgotten the grip these tires are capable of providing after 2 years of using the origninals! The comfort and support work equally well for casual wear and as workhorses. Highly recommended for the hiking enthusiast.

First thing that came to mind when I bought these: This is like wearing a high-tech moccasin for the 21st Century! Extremely comfortable, stable, and lightweight. Excellent for walking and hiking. Your feet feel as good at the end of the day as they did when you first put them on. The cinch lacing means you never have to stop to re-tie your shoes. Only downside is they are not waterproof, but using a good silicone spray should help.

I have tried all brands over the years, but find that these Merrell's are the finest shoe ever! I am on my feet most of the day on hard surfaces, and these are the very best. I have 2 pair and am trying to find the same model in "navy" in my size. As soon as I am contacted and advised that there is a size 12 in Navy, I will purchase them. I just love the lacing system and the fit and performance of this fantastic shoe.

i have owned and used dozens of 'hikers' including custon Swiss boots made in Zermatt. The Swiss boots look great around the fireplace; they cannot hold a flame to these wonderful day boots. i would not try to hike a seven day trek in these (wetness may be a problem), but for day use, kicking back in comfort, and having a great deal of arch support ( my perennial problem), these stretch boots are the best! Plus, they just look cool.

The shoes were ordered for my son who takes public transportation to school in New England. He doesn't like to lace his shoes - so the laceless approach works well for him. Many days are icey, slushy or snowy and atleast I know his shoes will stay on his feet. He also uses them to play sports with his friends outside throughout the winter. My husband and I also have a pair to walk around town, hike in the winter and summer. Mostly I use mine to take our Black Lab out on long walks - she goes crazy when she sees me putting mine on - so I really can't do anything but walk once I have them on.

These are a comfortable shoe for casual hiking or just lounging around, they slip on and are very durables, outer soles have decent traction, but are a bit too firm for good traction on a wet surface. Overall for what the shoes is built for it performs great, I would recommend this shoe as a good multi-purpose light hiker and a nice comfortable casual pair of shoes. I own two pair of these in different colors, and this particular shoes has some really great color combinations.....

This is my second pair of Merrell Chameleon Stretch shoes. Several years ago i was told by a friend that despite its looks, this shoe offers a good combination of comfort, durability and traction. After having my first pair for over two years, i too can attest to that. I put through hell my previous pair; i used in the rain, snow, mud, and even in the humid summers in Florida. When the shoe was dirty, i either hosed down or put them in the washer. Although washing machine is not recommended and the dryer is out of the question, the shoe withstood all the abuse i gave it; it never needed to be glued or fixed. I find that the shoe runs a little bit big but not quite to extend of a half size. I strongly recommend trying it before purchasing it. And one more thing; excellent choice of footwear to walk long distances in the city or trails, especially during the fall, winter and maybe spring time but i would not recommend it for humid or hot summers.

I love these shoes. I wear them when I skydive. They are very comfortable to wear with my windsuit.

i wear these shoes to work everyday as a warehouse manager for an exterior building supply warehouse. we carry and move heavy, bulky items all day (in excess of 80 lbs). these are the only shoes i've found that do not wear out fast, are comfortable on my legs, ankles, and knees, and the right price. i have bad knees and ankles, and these shoes are the right amount of support. i love them! thank you! nowhere around me ever has them!
