This is my seventh pair of Keen shies and my second pair of Targhee IIs. Keen suilds a great shoe, and I look forward to adding more to the stable. I got this pair of Targhee IIs mainly for the color.
They have become my preimary shoes while the others have been retired for yard work, etc.

I ordered a size 14 this time due to the 13 being a bit tight. I took the liner out of the 13, and they were fine. I found the 14 to be a bit tight also, in the arch and instep. Maybe that will resolve itself after more break-in. Either way, I removed the liner, again, and they feel great.

Other Keen shoes I've purchased before were right on the money as far as size.

What a lifesaver this shoe has been. I purchased this shoe for my husband who is a carpenter that has been plagued with sore feet for years. After I purchased these shoes for him, his feet have stopped hurting and when he comes home from work, he keep his shoes on until he sits down for the evening! Thank you Keen for building such a great shoe that is not just intended for the active teen, the outdoorsman, or athlete, but for the working man as well.

I've had this pair for going on two years now and I've never had a pair of shoes that came out of the box feeling so comfortable. They were my first Keens and I've been buying Keens ever since. They are casual yet work nicely with khakis.

This is one of the few day hikers that has a wide toe box but a normal heel width. Its one of the rare shoes that actually fit my feet. Its does take several days to break in the shoe, but now it fits like a glove.

I am an avid hiker - hiking the Grand Canyon about six times a year along with numerous other weekly hikes. This is the third pair of Keen hiking boots that I have bought. Targhee mid hikers, Snoqualmie winter boots and these Targhee II. They all fit the same allowing me to have lots of room in the toe box. When hiking down hill my toes don't even touch the front of the boot - this prevents any chance of bruising or black toe. I will never buy another brand of hiking boot as I have tried Merrells, Hi-Tech, Vasque and others. For my feet these fit the best. In addition, I never ever get blisters. I also use the Injinji toe sock as a liner with a smartwool sock but I really attribute it to the boots.

My husband was very skeptical about trying a brand other than the one brand he was used to wearing but I made him try these and now Keen has become his favorite brand shoe. I bought the Targhee for myself as well as the Newport sandals for everyone in my family.
