I wear these at work. I work in an aquarium store and we also do service accounts. So they get wet(usually with salt water). They dry quickly and still look good. I've tried all the leather(boat)shoes, and if you don't stay up on the maint., pretty much everyday they all dry and crack, and I haven't found one with good traction on wet tile. Which is where these shoes come in. I can just hit them with a little soap and water once a week and they still look good after 6 months. And they have excellent traction, even on wet tile floors! I guess they're made to wear without socks so, if like me you must wear socks go a little bigger. I really like these shoes.
