Not for high arches...

I wear size 13EEE, and have a high instep; couldn't even get the shoe on - the laces don't allow for adjustment - too bad, because it appears to be a very well-made shoe, nice styling, but it just wouldn't fit me so I had to send it back - I would recommend it to someone with flat feet!

Have worn "Boat" shoes for many years. These looked interesting. Have received many compliments on looks. Have worn these for 3 months, so do not know long term durability. I wear size 15 and weigh 275, so I do tend to identify issues quickly. These wer bought along with a pair of "regualar/classic" Docksiders. These are more comfortable. Have gotten them wet and muddy. They were not stained from that event. Will buy these again.
Clarification on width - Normally wear a "regular" width, had to buy wide in these.

I own and operate a restaurant and this shoe is great. Being on my feet all day requires a good shoe with support forarches and padding for bottoms of my feet. The kitchen floor gets wet and slippery so a non slip sole is a must. So from the dining room where appereance is crucial to the kitchen where safety is a must this is one fine shoe.
