I knew these boots were going to be nice, but I was even more impressed when I finally got to wear them. I have bought Montrail almost exclusivly due to the fact they fit long narrow feet. Montrail also offers their shoes in wide, but anyway... The boots are extremely comfortable, very supportive, and least important pretty easy to look at. I took them on a two day 26mile hike through New Hampshires White Mnts. straight out of the box and they performed beautifully. No hot spots, sores, or anything, I was amazed! Performed well on slipery rocks and kept my feet totally dry after many river crossings. The only issues that presented themselves unfavorably were the sizing and slight cosmetic. I wear a 12 in the Montrail Torre which I have been wearing for the past two years though I am a 13 in the Blue Ridge. So I would recomed a half to a full size bigger than normal. I beleive the difference from the Torre is the extra comfy goodnes in the Blue Ridge. Also the rubber around the toes has peeled up a little nothing significant. Awesome comfy boots with a pair of green or red supper feet you've got a solid pair of boots that should last quite a while.
