Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I'm still just breaking them in, but I've got doubts about the tounge already, It seems like whatever material covers this is fairly thin, and may end up tearing since the laces will cause friction across the surface. Plus, it looks like cheap vinyl, which is never a good sign. Otherwise, the boots appear well made, and the pattern on the sole is nice as it is easier to clean out compared to a standard vibram sole.
