I really like the design of this shoe. It's comfortable, and I need the gore-tex for the work I do. I only wish the laces on this shoe were better. They are thin, like angel hair pasta, so they don't stay tied up very well. I think I will have to get other laces, but I'm not sure if they will fit through the eyelets well. We'll see. I also bought a pair of Merrell that seems to be working out a little better that'd I'd probably recommend over these.

I bought these for a 2 week trip to Alaska. I have a narrow foot and the sizing took a while to get it right (3 pairs). Maybe 1/4 size too wide but with heavy socks I did not notice. Wore them almost all day every day. Very comfortable. Had some exposure to slightly wet weather and feet stayed dry but not a very good test, yet. Trip was more casual and not too adventurous but I believe these would do well for more serious hiking. did some running and they were good running shoes also. These are men's shoes but bought in my wife's name as she has the account with OnlineShoes.

I use these on my 8 mile postal route when the weather is wet! So far so good. Every thing you can think of dirt, rocks, puddles, wet lawns and unruly dogs, have been thrown at them and they are holding up well. Some of my fellow carriers are asking about them(rubbers are the standard). I tell them to go with Gore Tex!!
