This is my third pair of Keens. I've grown to love them for the comfort, but these also look very good for casual wear. Takes a little bit to break in, but a very good shoe.

Recently recovering from two broken toes from foot surgery, so shoe fit is more critical than ever before. Have always loved my Keen sandals and found them to be the most comfortable after I got out of the "Boot". So I tried the Keen Austin, and found it to also be the most comfortable shoe I own right out of the box, better than my Ecco’s or New Balance cross trainers with comfort inserts. Went back and bought a second pair within a month. Love the look of the shoe and the roomy toe area, they also breathe well.

My sister told me I had to buy Keens, we have very similarly shaped feet, narrow at the heel but wide at the toes. The Keen shoes are perfect for me! I wear them all day on hard (concrete) floors and my feet are happy which translates to my knees and back also being happy.
This is a great shoe. The only draw back is that the laces are too short!

A great shoe for all day wear. I wear them for walking a two mile aerobic walk, also all day at school as a teacher. I have neuropathy in both feet and Keens are now the only shoes I wear. I have Keen Lisbons also, then got a pair of Austins, and am getting another pair today the brown and black look.

Bought these shoes for my brother. I chose the all black color thinking it would match most of his clothes. I was wrong!! He would have preferred the brown with the stitching. The black was too...black to go with his traditional khaki shorts/white socks look. Other than color, he loves the shoe.

I liked them quite a bit, however they were a little stiff and caused some discomfort along the top of my foot and the bend point. I think though, that might have been reduced if the shoe were a half size shorter, but that would have caused it to be too narrow around the mid and heel area of the foot. For that reason I marked it as half size to small, but true to width.
Another thing, the design of the brown strip and the way it goes straight out and then bends a a 90 degree angle, creates the illusion of a REALLY wide, almost Ronald McDonald looking shoes, keens ARE wide and I like them for that reason, but combine there width, with and angular illusion on a shoe that feels a half size to long and it all added up to me trading these is for the **BRIGGS**........ WHICH IS A PHENOMENAL SHOE!!!!!

I've only had this product for about a month & I like it a lot. I have feet problems & I'm constantly looking for comfortable shoes & have tried a lot of brands but this is by far the most comfortable walking, casual shoes I've come across. I have not even used my orthodics on this pair & have not experienced any pain by the end of the day.
I will not hesitate to buy Keen again & even this specific model if I have to but the shoes seems to be very durable & may last a very long time.
Bottom line, if you do a lot of walking & need a pair of shoes that is up to it all day, I would recommend the Austin's.
Your feet will thank you!

I owned a pair of Keens before this purchase and loved them; wear them almost everyday and they're still in great shape. This is my second pair; I wanted a pair of slip ons like before, but the Austin's looks were to good to pass up. I'm glad I got them, they're as comfortable as the slip ons but look so much better. I took a trip to Vegas not long ago and ventured out to the mountains. I wasn't planning on hiking that day but me and a friend decided to go for it. We we climbing all over the place and my keens kept perfect traction. I would highly recommend this shoe.

I wear these to work all the time. They don't pinch or anything, as I feel most shoes are slightly too narrow. The design is improved over the prior model, because instead of the mesh it is now leather and cloth. The mesh would start to shed and look like it was growing hair, but these are just as comfortable without that problem.
