I bought these shoes for my daughters PE shoes for school (she's a second grader). The minute they showed up she wanted to put them on, and she was really disappointed that I asked her to wait to wear them until school started.
Two days after school started, my daughter fell off the monkey bars, and broke her elbow (not to do with the shoes). These shoes have been a god-send, because with all the school missed and doctors appointments and unsteadiness on her feet, she needs sturdy comfy shoes to get her around.
She loves these, because they're cute and they work great for me because they're easy to lace.
They fit true to size, and the width is just fine!
I would buy another pair of these in a hot second!
