My daughter loves these but they are hard to get on - the ankle part is too narrow and for some reason loosening the laces doesn't make much difference. Once they're on they're great.

I got this shoe for my four year old daughter. They are absolutely adorable and she was so excited to wear them. The only problem was they were almost impossible to get on her! It took myself and my husband (one to hold the shoe "open" and the other to shove her foot in) both to get these on her feet....and even then it took close to 15 minutes to get the pair on! She creid at the thought of having to put them on again.....I may just remove the elastic and put in laces....too bad because they are adorable...

I bought this shoe for my daughter who dosen't like to wear sneakers. We used to battle on 'gym' days. Now, she wears these almost everyday. She loves the color, and I love that they don't tie.

They are super cute on. I was VERY concerned at first because they are hard to get on (like need a shoehorn hard) for the first couple of times until they stretch out at the ankle. The toggle tie is great. My son loves them and he gets a lot of comments on them by adults wanting them as well. All in all, we dig them!

My daughter wears a 10.5, so most size 11 shoes are too big. We couldn't get the size 11 Portola on her foot, when we finally got it on, her toe was touching the end! Size 12 fit perfectly.
