My daughter has to wear mary janes with her uniform- so after running through the cheap brands- I decided to get her the Dr. Marten's to be both more stylish and durable for playground wear. She loves the ease of the velcro strap. And I love how cute and versatile they are, and how easily they clean up. She is 4, so durabillity is as important as how cute they are with the little plaid skirts. She thinks the grippy soles make her climb the slide better.
So far, they are holding up very nicely. And the wide, soft leather strap is more comfortable for her than the thinner ones that can bite into her foot.
Great product so far. These actually stand a chance of getting handed down.

Great shoe but the toe scuffs easily. For Dr Marten to be so expensive, it is disappointing that they didn't reinforce the toe more, especially for toddlers! I just bought shoe polish and polish them with each wear.
