Z-Rap doesn't tighten the shoes. My son walks right out of them. I bought them for little hands to easily put on and take off at school. They won't stay on his feet.

This is the third pair I have purchased. They never seem to wear out, my son just outgrows them. They are appropriate for most occasions. This shoe can get wet, but when it dries, you'd never know it. They also seem to resist showing dirt. My son loves them because they are both comfortable and stylish.
I am buying our second pair of these. My son put them on for the first time and said "oooohhh these are nice". For a five-year-old boy to comment on how nice these shoes are says a lot! They look and feel brand new, even though my son has outgrown them. I know they are a bit pricey, but a total bargain since you will only buy one pair!

I bought these shoes for my son for school. I ordered a size 13 but it was pretty small. He usually wears a 13 or 13 1/2 depending on brand. But it is a very good shoe so I returned them and went up to a size 1. That seemed to solve the small and narrow issue for him. But I recommend sizing up at least a 1/2 size.
