I agree with the other reviewer that they fell apart fairly quickly - relative to the brand. The first thing to "go" were the lace toggles - made it extremely difficult to slide them up and down. They also became ragged after a couple of months of use. My son had a different type of Merrell shoe last year which held up like a champ.

My son loves these shoes. Unfortunately, they just don't hold up. We bought him a second pair after the first pair fell apart on month five because he likes them so much. However, the second pair just split between the upper and the sole and is barely holding together. We bought the shoes in December and it is May now. Not worth the cost in my opinion.
