I was looking for a solid waterproof hiking boot for my 9 years old daughter. Since I did not find any GoreTex leather hiking boot in the girl's section, I thought I would try this boot even thought it was clearly identified ad a boot for boys. I was thinking that at 9 years, the differences won't be of any significance. Well, I got two pairs of different sizes (36 and 37) and they were both uncomfortable. They felt big and there were several pressure points my daughter complained about. We returned both pairs and ordered a Solomon boot from Girl's section. That boot passed my daughter's comfort test. Now we have to see if it's also waterproof as claimed...
