My eight year old son wears these everyday for school and loves them (he claims they're great for recess kickball). The black looks "preppy" and they are easy to keep looking clean. He has already asked to get them in the next size when he outgrows this pair and I will happily buy them here! I want a pair for myself!

I need a comfortable shoe that looks sharp for both work and play. I like the look of black leather with a gum sole, without any weird accent colors. When I couldn't find Sambas in my size, I tried to substitute Pumas, but they never felt quite wide enough and caused some foot problems. I can be on my feet for hours, can take the dog for walks, and can make house calls without having to change my shoes!
